Our Chicago production is searching for a part-time crew member to serve as a Deck sub for three different alternating tracks. This is a backstage run crew position whose responsibilities include an extensive and detail oriented props preset before the show, prop handling and cue execution throughout performances as well as work with a video camera on stage during the show, and post show duties as assigned.

 

Successful candidates will be self-motivated, innovative and enjoy working in a fast-paced and creative environment. Candidates with video knowledge and experience are highly preferred. Those with technical theatre/props and run crew experience are encouraged to apply. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

 

This is a part-time position that is paid hourly. As a run crew sub there are no guaranteed minimum hours. A flexible schedule with regular availability on nights and weekends is required.  Candidate must be available to work during the holidays (Thanksgiving through New Year’s) and weekday-day time during matinee season (March-June).
