Blue Man Group at Universal Orlando seeks a full-time Props Supervisor. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working with a live theatrical production in either props or carpentry. The successful candidate will be a highly collaborative, pro-active problem solver with exemplary leadership skills. The Props Supervisor will manage the general repair, construction, maintenance and/or restock of all props and supplies for the production and troubleshoot technical issues. Qualified candidates must be safety conscious and detail- oriented, while maintaining high work standards. They must have the ability to run and lead a busy department through a fluctuating show schedule.
Supervisory responsibilities include, but are not limited to, scheduling department staff, managing the daily operations of the department, running all show tracks, hiring and developing crew, departmental payroll, as well as creating and managing the budgets for the department. The Props Supervisor must also work collaboratively with all other supervisors and managers within the company to meet all artistic requirements for the show.
Due to show schedules, candidate must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Flexibility preferred as schedule fluctuates with the theme park seasons. This is a full-time hourly position with a competitive benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, Life Insurance and 401K.
